Ishaan Khatter Signed For The War Film Pippa To Be Bankrolled By Ronnie Screwvala And Siddharth Roy Kapur
Ishaan Khatter is happy to announce his next, Pippa, a war film produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur and to be directed by Raja Krishna Menon
Ishaan Khatter is on cloud nine! The actor gets signed for a war film titled Pippa to be produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The project will be helmed by Airlift director Raja Krishna Menon which assures loads of action on the silver screen. Pippa will showcase a tank battle on the celluloid, and young lad Ishaan Khatter will be seen stepping into the shoes of war veteran Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Gladly announcing this project on his Instagram account Ishaan has expressed being incredibly honored to play this role.
Ishaan’s Instagram post read, “It’s an incredible honour to step into the shoes of #BrigadierBalramSinghMehta. As we are about to celebrate the spirit of independence, the team is coming together for a visual celebration of love, humanity and India in #Pippa!” Veteran Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron along with his siblings had locked horns with the enemies in 1971 during Indo-Pakistan war on the eastern front. The film is penned by Ravinder Randhawa, Tanmay Mohan and Raja Krishna Menon and it is based on The Burning Chaffees written by Balram Singh Mehta himself.
